Let's Dive In! Code of Conduct

  • We ask that all users and parents use the facility with respect and care.
  • Parents will be able to watch the lessons on poolside and are required to stay on poolside during lessons.
  • For the safety of themselves and others, all children must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.
  • If your child has been ill with sickness or diarrhea we ask that they are 48 hours clear before swimming.
  • Shoes must be removed or overshoes worn before entering on to poolside.
  • No food, glassware or crockery is allowed within the pool premises.
  • Plastic/ non-breakable drinking vessels may be allowed at the staff's discretion.
  • Customers should only access the swimming pool and toilets allocated; under no circumstances should any person access any other areas of the premises. Anyone found away from the designated areas may be asked by the premises owner to leave immediately.
  • No photography is allowed.
  • Parents must take responsibility for all children they bring on site.  Do not allow children access to playing fields, hard surface area or playground at any time.  Adults must keep all children in their care safe and quiet.
  • People with long hair must wear swimming caps

Access to Pool

Access to the swimming pool must only be made via the gate at the far end of the school car park. This entrance will be marked with a swim school sign.

The gate to access the pool area must be closed and the bolt secured after entry and exit.

 

Changing

There are a number of changing cubicles on poolside and 2 showers.

Toilets are OUTSIDE the main pool two meters away so it is advisable that swimmers use these before going on poolside. It is suggested that swimmers arrive at their lessons with their swimwear on under their clothing to reduce congestion prior to lessons.

It is advisable that all children use the changing rooms but children over the age of 6 must use the changing rooms when fully undressing.

 

Please do not allow your children to play on any other school facilities around their lessons.

Parking

Access to the school is by electronic gate which will either be open on arrival or will open when you pull up.

Please park in the parents car park by turning left at the mini roundabout. Car park can be found next to sports hall and grass pitches.

 

Access to Pool

Access to the swimming pool must only be made via the gate in the red brick wall by the parent’s car park.

 

Changing

There are pool covers supplied for outdoor shoes.

There is a communal changing area plus poolside shower and toilet.

It is advisable that all children use the changing rooms.

 

Please do not allow your children to play on any other school facilities around their lessons.

Parking

There is a large car park at the front of the school. Entry to and from the school is through one way system with electronic gates.

 

Access to the Pool

Pool can be found by walking along the school buildings by the tennis courts, past the gym and metal containers. There is a glass door to enter the pool building.

 

Changing

There is separate male and female changing rooms which then lead out onto pool side. There is toilets and showers in the changing room araea.

It is advisable that everyone uses the changing rooms.

 

Please do not allow your children to play on any other school facilities around their lessons.
