Let's Dive In! Synchro Club

Let’s Dive in! launched Maidenhead’s first synchro club in January 2020, launched by former Olympic Synchronised swimmer Katie Chapman –

Having trained for 5 years as a full time athlete in the lead up to London 2012 Olympics where she competed with the team, (see photo - Katie is far left)  and achieved sixth place, Katie then qualified as a coach in 2013 at a synchro performance club.

Katie went on to be the GB coach in 2014 where she trained both the team and the duet and then took the duet to compete at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Since then she has got married, become a mum and has the passion to teach synchronised swimming to local young people.

Let's Dive in! Swim England Affiliated Swim School has set up a new synchronised swimming club for children aged 7 upwards who have achieved Stage 4 or more in their swimming activities.

This aquatic discipline is now known as artistic swimming. Swimmers progress through the Swim England Stages 8-10 and then onto LDI Synchro Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards to learn individual skills and routines to music.
